ONE SULPHUR Springs stu-
dent apparently was overlook-
ed by the publicity department
of Southwestern University at
Georgetown in a recent list of
Hopkins County representa-
tives attending the school. He
is James Scott <Jimi Johnson,
son of 8r. sad Mrs. Graydon
Johnson, 986 North Davie
Street. Johnson, who is a junior
at Southwestern, was the sub-
ject of an exclusive announce-
ment by the university which
followed that on the county
group by one day.

POSTMASTER BRTON Wil-
liams Tuesday took notice that
twice within 10 days one of
his mail carriers, Byrd Elliott,
had been bitten by a dog. Wil-
liams observed that dog owners
are legally and financially re-
sponsible f o r the action of
their pets. He appealed for
people to cooperate to„prevent
postman from being bitten by
dogs.
