Saturday morning at 5 a. m.
at Fort Sam Houston, accord-
ing to. information received in
Timpson by relatives. The re-
mains are expected to arrive
in Timpson Tuesday morning,
and will be carried to the
home of Mrs. Rosalie Fanch-
er, an aunt. Funeral arrang-
rr.ents had not been announced
when this was written.
Deceased ha9 been in U. S.
Army for about two years, en-
listing the Utter part of 1940.
Survivors include three
brothers: Clarence Mahan, in
U. S. forces overseas; Elward
Mahan, Fort Sam Houston;
Nathan Mahan, Timpson. His
grandmother, Mre. E. A.
Oliver, also resides in Timp-
