Wednesday at the Baptist
church for Clarence C. (Bill)
Hudson, of the 204th Coast
Artillery of Barksdale Field,
Shreveport, La. Mr. Hudson
was killed in Shreveport Mon-
day by a hit and run driver.
He had just recently been as-
signed to this branch of serv-
ice.

ty. He is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. W. T. Hudson of this
community. He-is survived by
his parents; three sisters, Mrs.
Clara Jones and Mrs. Joe Bai-
ley of Gary, and Mrs. Ettic
Metcalf, of Longview; six
brothers. Watt, Clem, W. T,
Jr., Fred Alton of Gary, Olin
and Elbert of Morton.
Rev. Ottie Reed pastor of
the Murvanl Baptist church
conducted-ihq funeral services.
Interment was made in the
Gary cemetery.

this young man, struck down
at the beginning of his adult
