'PHIS institution located at Chappell Hill in
Washington county Texas is in a high undu-
iatiug and jicturesqiie section of the State and
from many years experience the health of the lo-
cation is not excelled in i. South. It is on the
stage route from Houston to Austin and is acces-
sible by good coaches from every section of the
State. Commodious buildings are prepared for
the use of the enterprise and the Board of Trus-
tees have determined to build of stone or brick
substantial edifices so soon as the finances of the
University will warrant it. which fmni the funds

will be at no distant day.
