National Dental Meet
Dr. W. D. Whiteside, return-
ed Friday , afternoon from
Houston, where he attended
the annual session of the Na-
tional Dental Association. The
States and sections of Central
and South America were rep-
resented by attendance, Dr.
Whiteside said. The meeting
was interesting, beseftcial and
greatly enjoyed, the doctor
added.
J. J. Futrell Attends
Annual Assembly of
Co. M, 359th Inf.
The annual reunion of Co.
M, 359th Inf,, 90th Division,
was held Sunday at Gilmer
with an attendance of about
40 or 50, we are informed.
That organization includes
service in the World War, go-
ing overseas and after the Ar-
mistice serving in the Army of
occupation. J. 3. Futrell of
'Timpson was among those
serving with the above com-
pany, and he joined his bud-
dies at Gilmer for the annual
assembly.
Second Six Weeks’
Exams Two Weeks Hence
Though two weeks in the
future students of the Timp-
son public schools have in
mind the approaching exami-
nations for the second six
weeks of school. The tests be-
gin Nov. 17, Superintendent
G. D. Pruitt said this morning.
Report cards will be issued the
following week.
