Another new industry that
is growing with this city and
community is the Producers
Feed k Supply, featuring Mas-
ter Mix feed.
The new plant, located one
block west of the Southern Pa-
cific station on Railroad Ave-
nue, has a few additions to
make, following which a
formal opening will be held to
which the public will be Invit-
ed.
In the meantime, Charles
Robinson, manager, has an-
nounced the plant is open for
business, handling a complete
line of feeds—dairy, poultry,
hog cattle, horse and mule.
The plant also does custom
mixing and gringing.
. The new mill is one of the
largest in East Texas—equip-
ped throughout with the latest
machinery, all automatically
controlled. '
Charles Robinson is manag-
er; Jack Christian is office
manager, and N. A. Crump is
service man. In addition the
plant gives employment to a
number of other wor>9n.

Elected Trustees of
Timpson School District
Considerable interest was
shown in the election held here
last Saturday to name three
trustees of the Timpson Inde-
pendent School Dwtriet. - A| to-
tal of 483 ballots were .polled.
Tabulation of returns show-
ed the following results;
M. • B, Patterson 214; Jim
Coxort 286; C G. Hancock
224; Leonard D. Tyer 234;
Rev. D. S. Neel 289.
Cucumber Seed Should

Cucumber seed: is now avail-
able and should be planted be-
tween April II and 15, It is re-
ported by W. ¥. Corry. Grow-
ers wishing to enter the cucum-
ber deal can secure seed and
get contract from Mr. Corry, J*.
W. Krirtensen or Marvin Rob-
inson.
By planting the seed as des-
ignated above, the cucumbers
will be ready for marketing
about Jane 1st, when the Dal-
ton. Company will open their
shed to handle the deal.
Indication at this time point
to a crop of some 200 acres, it
is reported by Mr. Corry.

Funeral services for Donnie
S. Harris, 53, were held at
Caledonia Sunday afternoon
at 4 o’clock, with the Rev. D.
J. Collins officiating. Interment

Christians from churches of the Ttapeon
will gather in the Timpson Memorial Park at six o’clock
Easter morning for a beautiful sunrise service, friends
from many other places have been invited and many will
attend. Rev, W. B. Oliver has done a splendid work in
directing preparations for the service. He has had fine
cooperation from many who have worked on the commit-
' tees. All churches and. pastors iff tbs greater Timpson
community have been invited to take part in tbe service.

Rev. Lawrence C. Upton,
pastor of the Methodist church,
will be assisted in revival serv-
ices next week by Rev. Richard
Jenkins of San Augustine. He
will bring messages in song at
each service and will direct
the singing. Jenkins is an out-
standing soloist and leader. He
has been in charge of the music
for the Methodist Annual Con-
ference in Houston several
years. He came to Satt Augus-
tine recently from the First
Methodist Church of Beau-
mont where he was assistant
pastor.
Early morning services, 7 a.
m. will be held in the Fellow-
ship Hail of the church. The
pastor will bring devotional
messages each morning on the
question, "Lord, What Will
You Have Me to Do?” He will
preach each evening of the
week at 7:30. The Monday
night message will be "Thank
God for Spiritual Ancestors.”

J. R. Paramore, local groc-
er and Marvin Hartley,
local contractor, were elected
aldermen in the city election
held here Tuesday, with J. N.
Craig, election judge.
A light vote was polled,
reaching a total of 40.
' Mr. Paremore received 40
votes and Marvin Hartley 34
votes. L. G. Allen, Jr., was
given a write-in vote of 6.

SUNDAY MORNING
Special Easter service will
be held at Tennessee Presby-
terian church Sunday morning,
April 10, 11 o’clock, it Is an-
nounced by the paster, Rev. D.
Si Neel. Also taking part in
this service will be several oth-
er Presbyterian churches pes-
tered by the Bey, Neel. Com-
munion at the morning hour by
