crop dusting.
GiUett was gassing up his
plane Wednesday as the en-
gine idled.
The engine suddenly caught
fire.
Gillett ran to the cockpit
door and pulled back the
throttle, hoping wind from the
propeller would put out the
flames. Instead the plan* be-
gan to move, aad before ha
could leap inside to stop it, it
was racing all over the field.
Afraid it would crash into a
house or run onto a nearby
