by a native Indian artist and
saw a film on forest con-
servation.
The Senior Girl Scouts acted
as counselors to the Cadettes

install officers for the coming
year.
The installation ceremony
was conducted by the past
president, Phyllis Rogers.
Newly elected officers for 1981-
82 are Sharolyn Poe, president;
Gail Johnson, vice president;
Mary Beth Hulen, recording
secretary; Wyvonne Bronson,
treasurer; and Phyllis Morris,
ECC representative. The
ceremony was concluded with
all members renewing their
membership pledges.
Several items were discussed
during the business meeting
which include the state con-
vention in McAllen, a white
elephant sale May 16 at Rock-
well International to benefit the
Senior Citizen’s Center and
plans for the final social of the
year. Members also voted to
make a donation for fur-
nishings for the Senior Citizen’s
Center in Sulphur Springs.

Mrs. Theresa Sessions was
the guests speaker. She spoke
about the state meeting in San
Antonio and mentioned the
different activities, workshops
and other events made during
the trip.
Following the meeting there
were refreshments and a door
