Library Association, will hold
its 7th annual meeting Sat-
urday. October 13 at Silver
Hills Resort. Marble Kails
The District includes thir-
ty-two counties and Its pur-
pose is to broaden the scope
of the Texas Library Assoc-
iation by furthering its work
and to promote the beneficial
aspects of libraries and lib-
larianship.
Presiding will be Chairman,

Samuel David Flanagin.

Fredonia community, died
Wednesday afternoon at the
home of his daughter, Mrs.
Lois Poter, in Comfort.
Funeral services will be
held at 4 00 this afternoon at
the Fredonia Church of Christ.
Burial will be at Fredonia.
Survivors, in addition to his
daughter, include five sons,
Frank I». Flanagin and Der-
rell Flanagin. both of Brady;
D. J. Flanagin of Mason;
Lloyd Flanagin of Dallas; and
V .1 Flanagin of Temple; one
brother. Jack Flanagin of Ari-
zona: 15 grandchildren and a
number of great grandchil-
dren.
