The Texas Department of Trans-
portation would like to announce a
traffic control change on US High-
way 90 for the construction of the SH
173/US 90 Interchange.
The existing 2-line, 2-way traffic
will be shifted from the north side of
US 90 to the newly constructed south
side. The limits of this movement
will be from the 4-lane divided sec-
tion, west to the Whitetail Lodge.
The remaining section of the existing
detour, from the Whitetail Lodge to
FM Highway 462 in Hondo will
remain intact. This traffic movement
is required for the construction of the
north side of US 90 and the overpass
bridge.
Temporary delays may be encoun-
tered during implementation of this
detour and succeeding construction.
It is suggested that an alternate route
be used during this construction, if
possible. Construction is being coor-
dinated throught the office of Gar-
land C. Galm, Area Engineer for
TxDOT.
