Leona River Springs,
near Uvalde, were flowing
at a new record rate on the
same day, 68.4 cubic feet
per second, compared to
an average of 11.6. This
was a 10.4 cfps. rise from
the previous month.
With an 8.2-foot rise
from the previous month,
the well at Sabina! on
November 2 was at a new
recond. level of 817.6 feel
LiwVst level ever for this
well was 6640 feet in
October 1956.
' A rise of 10.7 feet at the
well at Hondo from the
previous month establi-
shed a new record there of
763,6 on November 3.
Record low measurement
at this well was 662.3 in
August 1967.
The well at Castroville
rose 13.8 feet during the
month to 728.8 feet but
this was shy of the record
of 731.2. set on October
.11, 1973. This well was at
its lowest in August 1956
at 622.3 feet.

The 1.7 foot decrease at
the well at Kyle gave it a
measurement of 578.9 feet
compared to its March 28,
1968, recorded high of
593.8 and July 1956 recor-
ded low of 542.2.
In the month, Comal
Springs,at New Braunfels
experienced a spring f|ow
increase of 78 cubic feet
per second, to 418. Th,,
average for nearly half a
century has been 281 cfps
