sheriff of Boerne, a member of
the Texas Highway Patrol, is
now stationed in Hondo.
Edge is -the son of the late S.
P. Edjge,~who for ten years serv-
ed as sheriff of Kendall County.
Upon the death of his father.
William Edge filled out his fath

re-elected to the office for three
terms.
Edge attended the Boerne and
Comfort schools and, before be-
ing elected sheriff, had. served
with the highway patrol for about
a year. During World War II
Edge served with the Infantry in
the European Theatre.
