The woman, about 18. iden-
tified herself as Barbara Table
of San Antonio, Texas. She
said that she, her husband and
the other man had been ship-
wrecked on the uninhabited
cay.
Mrs. Table, wearing only a
blouse and flowered pedal
pushers, said she refused to ac-
company her husband and the
other man on the Muriel 3rd
when it roared away from Eb

Flown to Nassau with the
woman were 25-year-old Kent
Hokanson, of Islamorada, mate
of the Muriel 3rd, and the four
Pennsylvanians.
The woman castaway said
her husband’s companion was
named William Seeds but that
he also used the name John-
son.
No charge was placed in Nas-
sau against Mrs. Table.
She said she and the two
men were on the 42-foot yacht
Star when it ran onto rocks at
Elbow Cay and broke up.

Sheriff Paul Jones said both
were from Greenville. They
were placed in custody at the
county jail Saturday night, but
posted bonds Sunday. Jones
said a complaint of driving
while intoxicated was lodged
against the driver of the car,
a Greenville woman. Her male
companion was charged with
carrying a concealed weapon.
They will answer the charges
in Hunt County court, Jones
ssid.

To Commute.
Death Sentence
Austin, Apr. 25 (£1 — The
board of pardons and paroles
in Austin refused today to re-
duce the death sentence of a
Houston youth, Nearvel Moon,
to life imprisonment. Moon is
to die in the electric chair at
Huntsville April 28th. He was
convicted of shooting a boy
and two men after marching
them into the woods near
Houston. The victims were Ber-
tram Appleton and his 22-
year-old son, Roy, and a friend,
Lee Hanson.

tired Dutch shipping man —
John Van Hengel—has arrived
in this country to represent
Queen Juliana of the Nether-
lands at the May 5th dedica-
tion of a 49-bell carillon in
Washington. The bells and tow-
er are a symbol of friendship
from the Dutch people and will
be presented on the day coin-
ciding with the one in 1945
when Holland was liberated
from the Nasis.
