la and Tami, spent three
marvelous weeks motoring
through Switzerland, Ger-
many, Italy and France.
Dallasites have been back
and forth from Israel this
summer. Just back are
Bunny and Marvin Kraut
who are enthusiastic in their
reports of their trip. Also,
Yaffa Block’ who is South-
west representative for fam-
ed Israeli designer, Gideon
Oberson. Guesting here with
the Block family is Yaffa’s
mother, Miriam Ben Shalom
of Haifa, and visiting with
their family in Israel are
Freida (Mrs. David) Brettler
and children, Gideon, Tali
and Ethan.
The Dallas Museum of
Natural History and Aquar-
ium will host a special
end-of-the-summer open
house, this Saturday, Au-
gust 11th at 7 p.m. Adults,
children and family groups
are welcome to visit both the
Museum and Aquarium in
Fair Park and participate in
the special activities being
presented during the eve-
ning.
Curator conducted behind
the scenes tours at both
institutions will allow visit-
ors to see the museum and
aquarium’s collections, work
areas and laboratories. Sev-
eral special museum trea-
sures and rare aquarium fish
will highlight these tours.
Free nature films in the
Museum auditorium will
interest and delight young
visitors and the Museum gift
dollos doinos
shop will be oepn for nature
gift purchases.
The popular “Adopt-A-
Fish” program will also be in
operation at the Aquarium
and many needy aquatic
creatures are still available
for adoptive parents to
sponsor one year’s feeding
and maintenance.
The Museum and Aquar-
ium open house is free and
open to the public. Both are
located in Fair Park where
there is abundant free
parking.

minutes of the Herman-Gar-
sek reunion, who walks in
but Barbara and Stanely
Spiegel of San Antonio, who
were also formerly of Fort
Worth.

not include Kahane in its
efforts to form a govern-
