ernturo was fully two degrees below tho

tho same during tho night throughout
the month Tho mean was about two
degrees below normal
precipitation
Thcro wero 10 days with 01 inch or
more of rain giving total precipitation
216 inches Tho greatest amount in
24 boura hours waB 105 on 3rd
WINDS AND STORMS
Prevailing windBeabferly On 23 days
tho wind was from N E to S E There
wero thunderstorms of more or less
sevcreity on six days but none of
them were very intense Wo had no
very high winds during tho month
CHARACTER OF THE DAYS
Thero were 11 clear days 13 partly
cloudy days and 7 cloudy days There
were only two perfectly cloudless days
yet the average cloudiness was only
three tenths of total cloudiness The
last half of the month was exceedingly
dry and dusty directly tho opposite of
the first half and pretty hard on cotton
but the dry weather has kept back
worms and insects which are much
more destructive during wet seasons
and perhaps this has compensated in
a good degree for tho lack of moisture
