Final rites held for Kitty Nance
Family and friends brave the cold
and damp weather to pay their final
respects to Mrs. Kitty Nance. Final
rites were held Tuesday morning at
Antioch Baptist Church with Rev.
Dr. E. Thurman Walker officiating.
Sis. Kitty was the youngest of six
children bom-to Mr. and Mrs. Tom
Armstrong (Anna Harris) in Caldwell
County where she attended the local
schools. She graduated from high
school in Taylor. Texas. After fin-
ishing high school, she met and mar-
ried Edward Nance m 1942. Nochil-
dren were bom to this union.
She later moved to San Antonio,
Texas and joined Antioch Baptist
Church. She joined the Usher Board
and was president of Board No. 3.
She was also actively involved with
the. City Wide Usher Board. Sis.
Nance was a committed and faithful
member of Antioch.
Four years ago, he became disable
and was unable to attend services or
serve in her capacity as an usher, but
her spirit was still here with us.
Sis. Nance worked at Kelly AFB as
a sheet metal worker for twenty nine
years and received numerous of out-
