SARATOGA
CHATTERBOX
Mis. Guy Flowers, Jr.
The chatterbox opened one
eye and took a peek at all the
beauty of the country side. Along
the highways is a beautiful trail
of white dogwooci. Little wild
flowers of many colors line the
shoulders of the highways and of
course azaleas are in full bloom
everywhere.
One of the most beautiful
sights that I’ve seen in_ a long time
is the Cherokee rose now in
bloom. These ever snow white
flowers. Mrs. Joe Hunt has a very
unusual display of this rose. Her
garage is completely covered
with this running rose. Right now
it is a solid mass of white roses.
Words just can’t describe the
beauty that your eyes behold
when you see this fairyland fea-
ture. Yes, I'm quite sure that
everyone will agree with^piewhen
you've seen this that Mrs. Hunt
has created a very lovely piece
of art with her Cherokee rose and
not many enjoy looking at. I’m
quite sure that everyone in Sara-
toga would like to have a garage
like this onejl've also seen tree^
fences, and harbors adorned with
this rose. It stays green the year
round.
Did you know that the televi-
sion was first exhibited on April
7, 1927?I wonder what it looked
like then.
Here is a word for the fisher-
man. Friday 3, 10. 17 and 24
are good fishing days in April.
Wonder why Friday is the only
good fishing days in April?
