white blossoms and lighted white
candles were used for the simple
decoration of the church.
The bride was given in marriage
by her brother, Capt. E. D. Eas-
ley of Gardner Field, Taft, Calif.
She wore a bridal dress of silk
marquisette, lace trimmed, made
with tight bodice and full length
train. Her mother’s wedding vei|
of illusion, bordered with imported
Swiss lace, was held to her head
by a bandeau of real gardenias*
White gardenias covered the white
player book which she carried.
Mrs. Coffee, a native of Detroit,
is a member of pioneer familes of
this section; she was reared here
Luther Monroe Arnold, brother
of Mrs. J. M. Rodgers of Detroit,
died at his home in Paris Tuesday
at 7:45 p. m , following a tiro
months illness. Burial and funeral
services were held Wednesday.
He was was bom in Arkansas in
1864. but had lived in Lamar
county many years.
Surviving are his wife, six chil-
dren, 18 grandchildren, 13 great-
grandchildren, a sister and two
brothers.
Brothers Miss by Minutes
Pvt. Junior Icenhower, who had
been visiting his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. L C. Icenhower, on a ten-
days furlough, left Monday after-
noon for Columbus, O., where he
is stationed in the Army Air Corpa
and his brother, Master Sgt. Kirk
Icenhower, who has been stationed
at San Angelo Air Field, arrived on
a bus arrived about three minutes
after he left. Sgt. Icenhower was
accompanied by hit wife and ia
en route to Chanute Field, III.,
where he enters training to receive
and finished high school here. a commission.
