It’s Quality That Counts
In A Dairy Cow. . .
Progress and profits in the dairy industry call for milk-
producing quality in the breeds. To do justice to natural
milk-producing ability, feed your cows balanced rations,
containing protein, carbohydrates and minerals. Cotton-
seed meal and hulls have proved their quality, in well-
balanced dairy rations ... to supplement farm grains
and roughages.

1940 MODEL GAS RANGE!
JOIN THE PARADE TO
COOL COOKING TODAY!
J HOSE are not idle words! The Certified Performance
(cooler performing) gas range is like an extra pair of skilled
hands, like an extra intelligent mind, watching over the good
health and pocketbook in the homemaker’s own kitchen.
Yet the most intelligent hands and minds might make a mis-
take—but scientific precision prevents the CP range from
doing that.
How can you save money? By using the simmer-save burn-
ers for "waterless" cooking that saves health-building vita-
mins and minerals. By using the low temperature method for
roasting meats, and not only saving considerable in shrinkage,
but enabling you to buy cheaper cuts of meat and still enjoy
a feast.
How can you save temper? Well, no one likes to work in a
hot kitchen, and your kitchen won’t be hot if you have a Cer-
tified Performance (cooler performing) gas range Scientific
insulation seals the heat in the oven and cooks the food, not
the cook. You’ll enjoy new hours of leisure from kitchen
"pot-watching" and "oven-peeping,” thanks to simmer burn-
ers and oven heat control. You’ll enjoy new convenience with,
automatic lighting of all burners on the CP range.
How can you save food? CP stands for cooking perfection,
too, and through its oven heat control and proper use of your
oven, you’ll save on baking failures. By using your CP range
broiler, you’ll be able to add new tempting and time saving
dishes to your daily menu—often from left-overs.
These are only a few of the ways you’ll save with a new CP
range. It would take too long to try to explain all 22 super-
performance features of the Certified Performance gas range
here. Come in to see us, and we’ll be glad to explain any one
or all of them to you!
