CLYDE -- Mary Evelyn Moore, 64 of Clyde, died Tuesday at a local hospital.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Bailey Funeral Chapel with Greg Clemmer
officiating. Burial will follow in the Tye Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.
Mary was born June 24, 1942 in Wills Point, Texas to Belton Royce and Annie Mabel
(Cranford) Gaines. She grew up and attended school in Wills Point. She was the widow of
Billy Moore in Abilene in 1973. They moved to Clyde from Abilene in 1983. Mary worked as
a press operator at Ingram Cleaners and Carl's Cleaners in Abilene and Outlaw Cleaners in
Clyde.
Survivors include one son, Ernest Butler of Abilene, five daughters, Vickie Lynn Butler and
Julie Ann Butler, both of Abilene, Marion Dickie and Barbara Dickie, both of Austin and Rene
Bibik of Clyde; one brother, Bobby Gaines of Abilene; three sisters, Ann Brewer of Abilene
and Margaret Isbell and Karen Gaines, both of Tye; two sisters-in-law, Martha David and
Mary Handy, both of Clyde and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Freddie White, 52, died Tuesday, January 2, 2007, at an Abilene medical center.
Born on April 16, 1954 in El Paso, Texas, Freddie was the son of Nora (Wells) and Fredrick
F. White, Sr. He had been a resident of Tuscola all of his life. Freddie was a diesel mechanic
for New Holland for 14 years.
