New Cadillacs On
Display at Yoder
Motor Co.
Subtle design refinements and
consumer - oriented engineering
benefits mark the 1978 Cadillacs,
now no display at Yoder Motor
Co., 801 Highway, McAllen.
Darrell Yoder, sales manager at
Yoder Motor Co., said Cadillac
will offer seven standard and two
“Special Edition cars for 1978, in
the familiar De Ville, Fleeetwood,
Eldorado and Seville models.
Mr. Yoder reported 1978 Cadillac
de Ville, Brougham. Limousine and
Eldorado models have a new, bol-
der design grille. All except the
Eldorado utilize new' rear bumpers
with vertical tail lamps incorpor-
ated in the bumper outers.
Seville rear lamps are individu-
alized with a crome insignia, and
the paint accent stripe is extended
across the deck lid to combine with
new bumper guards for a wider,
lower rear appearance. Exterior
opera lamps are available on the
1978 Seville, except Elegante
models.
Mr. Yoder said, “For 1978 we’re
again planning to personalize be-
tween 35 and 40 percent of our
Eldorados with the well received
Biarritz optional package. The
Biar-itz is available in five colors
and easily recognized by its uni-
quely-designed padded vinyl roof,
special body moldings, opera
lamps, distinctive Biarritz script,
special accent stripes and color
coordinated wheel discs. The Biar-

will cost an estimated $1,200,000. It will be modeled after
