On November 15th, your
Fearless Lady Rabbits took
on the Lorenzo Lady Hornets.
Both teams gave it their all as
Lorenzo held a 1 point lead
going into halftime. At the fi-
nal buzzer, we came up short
losing 44-37. Virginia Meza
was the leading scorer with a
career high of 14 points.
Lockney visited us on the
18th for another pre-season
game. As before, the game was
nothing less than exciting. We
tried to make a late run in the
second half but came up short
losing 48-39. Franki Torres
led the way with 12 points and
Kat Sanchez added 11.
Bovina came into town
on the 21st hoping to put up
a fight with your Fearless
Lady Rabbits, but Ralls had
other plans. Dominating from
the first quarter, we held a 13
point lead heading into half-
time and ended up winning
68-52. All 8 players that suit-
ed up scored during the game.
Franki Torres led in scoring
with 15 points while Brisa
Moreno contributed with 14
of her one. Grace Cavazos had
12 and Kat Sanchez added 10.
Alicia Casarez had 6, Bella
Samarripas had 5, Elisha Cas-
tro had 4, and Virginia Meza
added 2. Great effort all-
around by every player.
The last game that took
place right before Thanksgiv-
ing break was against Ropes
on the 22nd. The Fearless
Lady Rabbits were only out-
scored by 3 in 3 quarters.
However, our slow start in the
1st quarter is what made us
play from behind the entirety
of the game. The final score
was 27-11 with Ropes coming
out on top. Kat Sanchez was
our leading scorer with 7.
These young ladies play
their hearts out every time
they step on the floor. They
have set their limits high and
are not stopping until they
achieve their goals. We will
be back in action at O’Donnell
on Tuesday. #FEARLESS

Your JH Fearless Lady
Rabbits took on New Deal on
November 14th. The B Team
continues to improve every
game and that is going to lead
to great things in the future.
No score was available for
this game. The A Team was
leading New Deal through a
quarter and a half but was un-
able to control the lead for the
rest of the game losing 37-24
During the Smyer tourna-
ment, the B team faced Plains
and Hale Center. No one left
a single ounce of energy in
the gym as the young ladies
played their hardest in both
games and gave it all they
had. Although they did not
come home with a win, they
learned a lot that Saturday and
they are ready for their next
challenge. The scores were
22-10 and 31-4. Team mem-
bers include: Loma Faber, Je-
sika Barrera, Samantha Lara,
Leslie Torres, Nevaeh Riojas,
Kyndal Roden, Graciela Baca,
Ashley Sistos, and Claire Cas-
tillo (injured).
The A team’s first chal-
lenge was against Hale Center
and they controlled the game
right from the beginning. Re-
lying on their defense, Ralls
won 37-18. Up next was Smy-
er and whoever won would
get 1st. Although we got off to
a slower start than normal, we
came home with the W as the
final score was 22-10. Excel-
lent effort in both games from
every player. Not once did
they doubt themselves and it
showed on the court. Attached

One tax load is plenty!
Why ask for two?
Part of every dollar you spend goes to pay for
community services and benefits . . . wherever you
shop.
When you shop at home in our local stores, part
of your bucks go to pay tax-supported services and
benefits at home.
If you shop in the big city part of your bucks go
to pay for the services and benefits IN THE BIG CITY.
What's worse, when you shop out-of-town, you
still have to pay out IN ADDITION to the money
needed for those services here at home. In more
ways than one, it's smart to shop at home.
