Dedicated to Brother Bloys and all the faithful
ranchmen and cowboys, who began and still sup
port this meeting.
Another summer has rolled around,
And we have met at the old camp-ground;
The meeting brings its joys and tears,
As swiftly on and on passes the years.
The ranchmen come from far and near--
From every ranch and gather here.
They stretch their tents by mountain-side,-
And also upon the prairie wide.
Good food is provided for everyone;
The hospitality--to equal it-can't be done.
The chuck box is filled to the brim
And Mexican cooks work with a vim
The meals cooked are simply grand;
You couldn't find better in any land,
The cowboys fill your plates with haste,
Give you plenty, and some goes to waste
The tabernacle is opened wide,.
And we all walk in side by side
To hear good ministers tell the story
Of Jesus and his home in glory.
Then we all gather under the tabernacl to pray,
And thank our dear Lord for providing a
way
Of meeting so many of our old friends so dear,
That we have not seen for many a year.
God bless Brother Bloys, who began this good
work;
God bless the ranchmen who never shirk.
These meetings nave saved many a man,
Will God bless it? Yes he will and he can.
