The play which made all
Americans laugh, will appear at
the Hanna opera house Monday
night. It is said to be an up-to-
date company which will p.esent
this play, and they have a fine
band and orchestra.
There is a marked change in
the condition of Mr. Jack W.
Martin, who was reported so se-
riously ill last week. The para-
lyzed condition of the brain has
disappeared, and he is entirely
conscious and has good use of his
mind and body. There is some
bowel trouble, however, and he
is yet in a serious condition. Dr.
Hines, of Lometa, was here Wed-
nesday to see Mr. Martin, and
expressed himself as hopeful.
Hear Si Perkins at the Hanna
opera house Monday night and
get well of that blue feeling,
caused by bad weather and dull
business.

which Miss Baker executes her selec-

6. Reading of the “K. K. Vindica-
tor.”_by Miss Alien. The Vindicator
is a Journal prepared semi-monthly by
the various members of the club. This
issue by Mr. McGee and Miss Allen was
full of wit, humor and matters of in-
terest to all present.
6. Duet.— “Old Black Joe ’—By Mr.
Leatherwood and Miss Stephenson.
This was indeed a treat to all.
Mr Will Munger favored those pre-
sent with one of his most beautiful se -
lections “The Pearls” which was
heartily enjoyed, but how could it be
otherwise when Mr. Munger sings?
After the program was completed
refreshments were served in the dining
room. The table was covered with the
whitest of linen, beautifully embroid-
ered centerpieces, and flowers of the
most delightful fragrance and beauty.
A fairer, more tempting scene could
not be imagined. The delicious re-
freshments, consisting of salads, cro-
quetts, meats, coffee, tea, fruits, cake
and ambrosia, was indeed fit for the
Gods. Mrs. Wright, assisted by Mrs.
Munger presided at the table with a
charming grace and dignity worthy of
Hebe. It was near the midnight hour
when the happy crowd bade their host
and hostess, with their worthy assist-
ants, good night.
