of the highway where it intersects
with n county road going east to
the Fairview community.
A passerby, a preacher from
Spofford, Tex., found the body and
called Brady police from the home
of Oscar Conn, about 200 yard
from the intersection.
Sheriff Luke Vogcr said Thack-
er had been with a group of four
or five other hoy* and girls in n
car earlier in the night. Thacker
got out of the car on the county
road and refused to get hack in.
