Tom Waldrop... A Leader
Rancher
Tom Waldrop lives on a ranch in Navarro County
where he and his wife, Billie, operate a small cow/calf
operation. He understands the problems that threaten
the very survival of our farmers and ranchers.
Tom is currently a member of the Committee for
Agriculture and Livestock. While serving in the Texas
Legislature he has been instrumental in passing many
bills to improve conditions for agriculture.
Tom Waldrop wants to continue his work for
policies that promote stability for farmers and
ranchers and that help preserve the tradition of the
family farm.
Businessman
As a former manufacturer, Tom Waldrop un-
derstands the problems that businessmen face today.
He believes in our free enterprise system, with all of
its advantages, must be preserved. This can be done
by keeping government interference in business at a
minimum.
Tom Waldrop believes less government in-
terference means better competition and that means
more jobs, lower prices, and a healthy economy.
While serving in the Texas Legislature Tom
Waldrop was one of only 18 legislators that were
given a 100% rating for their free enterprise votes by
the Texas Tribune, recognized as the voice of free
enterprise.
Tom Waldrop wants to continue his work in
protecting the system that has provided Texas with
its healthy economy.
Legislator
Tom Waldrop, a concerned and tough minded citizen,
is now a member of the Texas House of
Representatives, and asks your vote and support to
help him continue the work he has begun:
Tom now serves on the Committee for Agriculture
and Livestock, and is chairman of the Sub-committee
for Pesticides and Environment Impact.
He is a member of the Committee for Criminal
Jurisprudence and helped pass the far reaching anti-
crime and anti-drug laws of the 67th Legislature.
Tom Waldrop’s record proves that he really cares
about people and their problems. He is a committed
and involved man that knows how to get things done.
Concerned Citizen
With nine grandchildren, Tom Waldrop has a stake in the future of Texas. He believes we
need to give all children the first class educational opportunities they deserve.
He believes that our young people should be protected from the growing drug culture by
creating tougher laws that discourage its spreading.
He believes that its time all citizens join together and work to see that the criminal is
placed and kept where he belongs.
While serving in the Texas Legislature Tom’s efforts in working for these causes were
recognized by many.
Tom Waldrop wants to continue his work in making Texas the greatest state of all.
RE-ELECT
My goal is to join with you in an aggressive partnership
to promote the best interests of the people and in-
stitutions of District 12, and my pledge is to be available
and responsive to you.
Please work and vote for my re-election to the
legislature on May 1.
Many thanks,
Tom Waldrop
