Librarians Have
Christmas Party
Librarians and assis-
tants of the Carson County
Free Library met Thurs-
day for a Christmas party
and luncheon at Johnson’s
Cafe in Panhandle.
The serving table, co-
vered with a green linen
cloth, was centered with
a bouquet of red poinset-
tias, with three red vo-
tive tapers. Favors were
round balls of mistletoe,
tied with red velevet bows
topped by tiny redeleves.
Following the luncheon,
a gift exchange was held,
Mrs. W. L. Potter, li-
brarian of the White Deer
branch gave the invoca-
tion.
Attending were Mrs.
Harvey King, head li-
brarian, Panhandle; Mrs.
E. L. Jones, Mrs. W. K.
Tearney and Mrs. Edith
Hollcroft, Panhandle;
Mrs. Bertha Knight,
Groom; Mrs. O. I, Vin-
son, Pantex; Mrs. Clif-
ford Coleman, Skellytown
and Mrs. Potter.
School Cafeteria
Workers Feted
A Christmas luncheon
for school cafeteria em-
ployees was given in the
home of Mrs. Ralph Al-
len December 20.
Attending were Mrs.

Demonstration Club will
have a salad supper on
January 6 at 6 p.m. in
the home of Mrs. Naomi
Lawson. Mrs. E.E. Craw-
ford, incoming president
lias said yearbooks will
be filled out and pro-
grams for the year plan-
ned.

will be held Monday even-
ing and,January 3 ,when
the Eastern Star will meet
in Masonic Hall.

rillo, where a school of
instruction will be held
in the San Jacinto Ma-

Mr. and Mrs. Burl But-
ler are the parents of a
son born Monday night in
Highland General Hospi-
tal in Pampa. The boy,
William Boyd, weighed
seven pounds, fourteen
ounces. The Butlers have
two other children, Kathy
and Andy.
AMARILLO- Mr. and
Mrs. Jay Cooper are the
parents of a son born De-
cember 19. The baby
weighed eight pounds nine
ounces and has been nam-
ed Guy Albert. Maternal
grandparents are Mr. and
Mrs. Guy Gripp.
HEREFORD- Mr. and
Mrs. Don Cole are par-
ents of a son, Chadwick
Harold, weighing eight
pounds, fifteen and one-
half ounces. He was born
December 21 in Deaf
Smith County Hospital.

handle A and M College

Recreation Association.
Gill, a graduate of De-
hart High School, receiv-
ed his T3S degree with a
major in business admin-
istration , in the spring of
1965 from PAMC. He has
received a United States
Army Commission with a
branch assignment in the
quartermaster crops and
will assume his assign-
ment at Fort Lee in June.
At the present, he is em-
ployed in Guymon.
