Wright designed the building, also known as
the Kalita Humphreys Theater, late in his
career; construction was completed in 1959,
the year of his death. His only other Dallas
design, a residence in Preston Hollow, was
designed at the same time.

Dallas Central Library on Saturday, February 12, from
11 a.m. until 4 p.m. for the program "Home Sweet Home."
Admission is free, and drinks and desserts are provided.
Attend one or more workshops on finding and financing a
house in intown Dallas and other useful topics. There will
even be special events geared especially for children.
