Preservation Dallas Awards Celebration #
preservation Dallas is seeking nominations and the
jury eagerly awaits your submittal for renovations
and restorations of historic structures and individuals
or firms with notable accomplishments in preservation.
The awards will be presented at the Preservation Dallas
Awards Celebration on Friday, February 25, 2000.
The jury consists of a historian, an architect and a real-
tor. They are very enthusiastic about the opportunity to
recognize Dallas for its notable projects. Make sure
your nominations are submitted to the Preservation
Dallas office by January 14 to be considered. If you
need an application, please see the November newslet-
ter, come by the Preservation Dallas office located at
Preservation Dallas Awards Co-Chairs Bob Meckfessel and Karri Nichols
2922 Swiss, or call (214) 821-3290 to have one faxed or mailed
to you.
Co-chairs Bob Meckfessel and Karri Nichols are planning a
casual evening catered by Sonny Bryan's Barbeque, and enter-
tainment will be provided by local musician, Joseph Vincelli.
Ticket prices are $25 for members and $35 for non-members.
Members, watch your mailboxes. You will receive an invita-
tion within the next few weeks.
