A delinquent Church member to
I nothing short of a tragedy. One
1 of our guest preachers during our
! Homecoming referred to two
! classes of Church members, name- |
ilv. Ink members and loyal mem-'
■'bers. To which class do you be-
long? What Joy it would bring
and such
as had
become common in the .Jewish
world. The “meek" are gen
temperate, patient, calm: resign-
ed. teachable, forbearing, and for-
giving. Such men enjoy life the
best and derive the most from the
world; the| really "Inherit the
earth." The? Inheritance laws did
not mean to give the parent's
property to children that they
might waste and consume it; but
that they might use It as a means
to greater prosperity and that In
the end society might be Improv-
ed. Those who used the estate for
practical purposes invested
their own time and talent In their
chosen fields, gained the greater
happiness for themselves in life
and In death left a still greater
estate to posterity. The greatest
heritage tha any man can leave
his so nis a life worthy to be loved
and imitated.
