Monday In April, A. D. 1922, the same
being tbo 17th day of April A. D. 1922
then and there to answer a petition
filed in said Court on the 81st day of
August A. D. 1921 in a suit, numliered
on the docket of said Court No. 04^1,
wherein Ruby Dove hr Ttatiitlff, and
J. L. Dove is Defendant, and said ,pe-
titioa alleging, that plaintiff has re*
sided In Comanche County, Texas, six
months next proceeding the bringing of
this suit and has been a bona fide
Inhabitant of Texas for more than one
year next before bringing this action.
That on or about May 1st, 1920 she
was legally married to defendant, that
they continued to live together until
January 1, 1921, when plaintiff by
reason of the cruelties, outrages, vio-
lence and danger of violence to herself
and her Small child by a former mar-
riage was forced to and did permanent
ly separate herself from defendant.
That while she lived with defendant
she was £tind and affectionate to him,
always coring for the duties of her
household and In every way assist
him in making a living 49d was econ-
omical in the administration of her
household affairs, but defendant un-
mindful of his marriage vows and ob-
ligations about1 two months after said
marriage began a studied course of
abuses and Insults toward her and
would threaten her life and would pub-
icly accuse her of the crime of adul-
tery, which was false and untrue and
continued such treatment until the
time of the said separation. That con-
duct of defendant was such that f
rendered their living together as man
and wife altogether insupportable to
this plaintiff. And plaintiff prays for
a divorce from said, defendant and
Judgment for costs of suit and for
such other and further relief, special
and general as she may be, In law and
