We realize that any effort toward civic improve-
ment will receive some criticism, and will always
work some hardship on some of our citiaena. We feel,
however, that if we are to promote the Welfare of
the majority ef our citizens, and make our town a
better place to livey-we cannot let progress for the
many be obstructed by the conflicting, even though
sincere, desires of the few. And, we feel confideht>
that after a few months of your new system opera-
tions, there will'be practically no opposition.
Please be assured that the Chamber of Commerce
stands behind you at all times in your continuing
efforts to improve our city.
Respectfully,
The Board of Directors
