Wichita County for
all the expressions
of confidence in
me in the past to
place me in this po-
sition of 'public
trust. Further I
wish to thank you
and commend you
for your splendid
spirit of coopera-
tion shown, not .on-
ly the Sheriff’s department, but law
enforcement agencies, both civil knd
military for the past several years.
It is by reason of your helpfulness
and interest that you have set a
standard in your community and
county round about of the peace dnd
dignity, respectability, and citizen-
ship, you are proud to represent, up-
hold and defend. Therefore, I deem
Pat Allen
it an honor'to have lived among you
and to represent you as a peace of-
ficer in the capacity of Sheriff.
’ To most of you I need but little
introduction^ having associated my-
self with you in civic, and communi-
ty affairs, and in all matters of
public interest and welfare, Helpful-
ness, /Fairness and impartiality in
the truest sense of the word have
ever been my guide to efficiently
render service to the betterment of
my county and its people. Your ex-
pressed desires for law enforcement
and numerous requests for my serv-
ices generally, have not only been
accepted as an obligation, but a priv-
ilege as well.
I regard the position as a peace
officer a vocation second to* none.
A position of service which can be
elevated to the highest degree
through experience and the priceless
cooperation of the church, the home,
and the community as a whole. The
past four years that I have been
away have been most helpfu as well
as an inspiration. To be permitted
to train the young soldier away
from home on foreign soil, to deal
with him as I felt his Dad would
if he were there, and as I hoped the
• commanding officer of my sons,
wherever they might be, would
administer to them. All of which I
feel has enlarged my realm of use-

about the perfect service of their to-year-old gas
refrigerators through trying war years when
i
other refrigerators, like mine, were breaking down and
needing practically impossible-to-get replacement parts.
The idea of running without moving parts in
freezing system makes the Servel gas refrigerator
most desirable. Even though I
may have to wait months for
a new gas refrigerator,
I’ll wait. JJ
