Bogata PTA met Thursday at
3:45 at the Bogata cafeteria. The
meeting was called to order by
the president, Mrs. Bill Ander-
son. The invocation was given
by Rev. Dickie Golden. Mrs.
Glenn White introduced the
speaker, Paris Chief of Police
Loyd Mathews, who spoke on
narcotics in our surrounding
community. Mr. Mathews was
accompanied by Detective Sgt.
Charles Whitley of Paris, who
showed the different types of
narcotics.

the Bogata school children.
The PTA’s project for this
year, to build a tennis court, was
approved. The room count was
a tie between Mrs. Chaloner’s 3rd
grade and Mr. Garrison’s 6th
grade. The meeting adjourned.
