Red River County WHD Coun-
cil met Oct. 20 at the Chamber
of Commerce building in Clarks-
ville. Meeting was called to or-
der by the chairman, Mrs. Ben-
nie Stevens. Mrs. Lucille San-
ders had charge of the devotional
service. A poem, a song and the
club prayer. In the absence of
Mrs. Bell, Mrs. Childers gave the
roll call and minutes of last
meeting. Midway gave the ten
minute demonstration. New
Shamrock Club will give the
November demonstration. Time
and place for Council meeting
will continue to be at Chamber
of Commerce building, 2 o’clock.
A Craft’s Day will be at Kill-
bright Community Center, Nov.
9. Registration will begin at 9
o'clock. Bring covered dish and
something to auction off. Table
service for yourself and be pie-
pared to buy something at the
auction sale. Also bring your
crafts to be put on display.
Mrs. Butts. Mrs. Nania Kellum
and Mrs. Yancey were elected as
nominating committee for the
election of new officers in No-
vember.
The two WHD agents gave re-
port.- of what their dubs had a •-
contplished up until now in 1965.
