Graveside Rites
Held for Infant
Final rites were held at 3
p.m. Saturday for the infant
child of Mr. and Mrs. William
T. Drummond of Dallas. The
baby was born at Winkler Coun-
ty Memorial Hospital Friday
morning.
Graveside rites were conduct-
ed by Gaither Vanderveer, pas-
tor of the Parkview Church of
Christ, in Kermit Cemetery.
Survivors include the par-
ents; a brother, Temple Drum-
mond of Dallas; the maternal
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W
M. Hurst of Wink; and paternal
grandmother, Mrs. Ruth Drum-
mond.

Mary Bridges Young Woman’s
Auxiliary of Northside Baptist
Church met in the home of
Mrs. Roy Geske for mission
study program.
President, Mary Cline, called
the meeting to order and An-
netta Leasort led in opening
prayer.
Two complete programs were
given. The first one, New Mis-
sions—How and Why, was given
by Annetta and the second,
Closing The Witness Gap, was
given by Mary.
After programs were com-
pleted, Annetta read the prayer
calendar and Mrs. Geske led in
closing prayer.
Then the girls wrapped two
boxes with orange crepe
paper, to put fruit in to be de-
livered to two people in the
hospital Wednesday. Hot choco-
late and doughnuts were
^served.
