iKnow the truth and the truth will
make you freo" said Brother A. R.

Christian College' in an Interesting
address given in chapel Tuesday
morning.
Brother Holten emphasized the fact
that one'fo the fundamentals of life
today is to toll the truth and ex-
plained that in this rage of yrogrlss
thero is a growing tendency toward
dishonesty.
He also stated that the destruction
of the courts -of our land la being
caused by shysters and dishonest
Judges.

place" the speaker continued "But
tho closer we trot toirether in imma

Letter Received
From Bio. Brown
The following letter is from Brother
W. E. Brown head of tho History
Department Brother drown is on
leavo of absence to Johns Hopkins
University for tho year working on
his Ph D. degree.
Baltimore Md.
Dear Brother Baxter:
Wo arrived hero on tho first of
October and spent most of the day
looking for n place to stay. Our
efforts wero finality rewarded with n
two-room apartment at a price which
we decided we could pay. We are
seven blocks from the University and
without tho opportunity to play volley-ball.
I got my exorcise by walk-
ing to school. We live on the second
story of a flat a good proof that a
little city is much better than a large
one. If people in Texas1 could sec
how crowded things are here they
would certainly be thankful for all the
room they have in Texas. Though our
surroundings are not as pleasant as
we would like we live about as com-
fortable as most peoplo in this city.
After all I did not come here to live
but to get information.
The work I am taking is just what
I want and tho thing I need for my
course at A. C. C. I have courses
under the most prominent men in the
University and under men who are
very prominent in the history field.
I have American History under Dr.
Latone European History under Dr.
Turner and Roman History under Dr.
Frank. The library hero is an.un-
usually good one. I have access to
all the source material could want
and am so close to Washington I can
if necessary uso the Library of Cong'
rcss. I feel that I shall be much better
fitted to serve A. C. C. after this
year's study.
Each Sunday we go to Washington
for services. The second Sunday we
were there I had the opportunity to
talk to the church. Tho peoplo there
are certainly friend and we like to go
there.
Yours sincerely
EARL.
