FORMER KERMIT IAN PROMOTED — Fred B. Green, (right), a 1947 graduate of Kermit
High School and son of Maud Green of Kermit, discusses advertising plans for Coin World
with Advertising Manager Frank Knight, Green’s promotion to assistant advertising manager
of the magazine was recently announced by Knight, also a former Kermit resident who was ad-
vertising manager 10 years for The Winkler County News. Green joined the display advertis-
ing staff of Coin World in 1964 and has assisted in promotion and production which today
finds Coin World to be the largest hobby newspaper, with over 100,000 weekly paid subscrip*
tions. Devoted to the hobby of Numismatics, Coin World was founded in i960, _

ty home demonstration agent,
and two 4-H girls, Kay Nobles
and E ulonda Nutt, were in Odes-
sa one day last week attend-
ing a tea at Odessa College.
The college holds the event
annually in cooperation with
Texas Home Economics As-
sociation and is for girls in-
terested in home economics
as a career.
Mrs. Ferrell and the Ward
County agent prepared a dem-
onstration on Food and Nu-
trition.

A modern, one • act drama
titled A Certain Just Man will
be presented at First Baptist
Church, Sunday, April 23 at
7 p.m. by the Young Adult Train-
ing Union Department.
Bill Barsch is director of
the play, which revolves around
a modern business man who
does not realize Christian
ethics are to be practiced in
the business office, as well
as in the church.
Included in the cast are; Jim-
my Strickland, Josiah Bancroft;
Mrs. Joe Jones, Molly Ban-
croft Pendleton; Mrs. Berl
Potts, Bancroft’s secretary;
Berl Potts, Rev. Kennedy; Mrs.
Bill Barsch, Mrs. Wilkins; Mrs.
Marlin Dodds, the guide; and
Calvin Rippee, the gate keeper.
