you drink it instead of taking
shots is available now in Brady.
The vaccine consists of three
do-cs, each of a different strain,
being administered six weeks or
mote apart. A booster dose of nil
three strains is given one year
later.

Dr. James I*. Anderson, Mc-
Culloch County health offi-

be given at any time regard-
less of a person’s physical
condition, "and it has a de-
lightful taste." Infants can he

Construction of the lake is
aliead of schedule, however, at
the present time. As of last
Saturday, Scherer’s crews
had completed 37.7 percent of
the work and bail used up only
10.9 percent of the contract
time <1X| days of 430 days
allotted in the contract).
Scherer asked the Council to
consider giving him an extension
of time on his contract, in case
the drouth continues and he is
forced to shut down.
“I ctin certainly see nothing
but to stop all of the embankment
work until it rains either on the
project or on the watershed when
we run out of water.
“There is no available water in
the area, and the City of Brady
cannot furnish enough water for
this project; it is not feasible to
haul or pump from Brady even
if the water is available.”
Scherer said he would he wil-
ling to continue work on other
phases of the dam construction
which do not require water, “but
it is utterly impossible to do a
project of this size without an
adequate water supply, and this
one has been just about exhaust-
ed.”
