If a poll were taken on the ACC
campus to determine who the
busiest student on campus is I
imagine that all fingers would
point to one senior Bob Hunter.
This busy senior is vice presi-
dent of the Student council man-
ager of the SAC tenor in the A
Cappella chorus president of "A"
club Frater Sodalis and almost
every other club that ho is a mem-
ber of; and just about anything
else you might want to name.
In spite of all the many activi-
ties which put a drain on his time
Bob could also be considered one
of the friendliest persons on the
campus.
We can thank a minister in San
Francisco for sending Bob to ACC.
He recommended his alma mater
to Bob so highly that Bob hopped
on the next train and came here.
Bob a 20 year old freshman
made an immediate hit on the
campus. He was elected freshman
class chairman and later vice pres-
ident of his class.
A member of the A Cappella
chorus for all of his four years on
campus Bob had the tenor lead
in the opera "Martha" last year.
Branching out into forensics for
the first time Bob walked off
with first place in ACC's Bible
reading contest this fall. He did
a repeat job by winning at the
annual ACC intercollegiate speech
tournament
Bob's ability for getting things
done is also recognized by other
schools. At the recent Texas In
tercollegiate Student association's
convention Bob was nominated
by TCU for treasurer of the asso-
ciation for next year. He won by
such an overwhelming landslide
that the assembly gave him a
standing ovation.
When asked what he thought
about Texas Bob gave an answer
which is very unusual for a.
prune-picker. He said that he has
been in Texas for so long that he
feels that he has become a par
of it.
