for Homecoming Saturday
Reunions for classes that graduated In
years ending In 7s and 2s have been
scheduled for Saturday as part of
Homecoming activities said Dcwby Ray.

The class of 1942. with Leon Locke
president will meet for a meal at 5:34 p.jn.
in the home of Norman and Lurllne Huff.

niversary this year. Reunion plans made
by Betty Hood and Beverly Starncs co-
chairmen. Include a reception Friday from
0:30 to B p.m. at the Women of ACU
Museum and a meal at the Hillcrcst
Church of Christ family room at 5 p.m..

The class of 1962. with B.J. Allen
president will have a luncheon In the Main
Room of the Campus Center at llil5 a.m..

president will reunite in the Nelson Hall

largest attendance at reunions
The classes of 1937 and 1977 will have the
largest turnout of .returning alumni for
their reunions as indicated by

A strong drive by several reunion
classes has assured a good turnout but the
reunion chairmen for the 1937 and 1977
classes have worked exceptionally hard to
contact class members said Mrs. Ray.
Their work has been reflected In
reregistration numbers she said.
Some social dubs have planned special
activities that are expected to draw a good
response from former members said Mrs
Ray
Also the reception for Garvin
Bcauchamp who will be honored as
rcccpient of the Exceptional Recognition
Award will bring many friends to the
campus she said.
Many returning alumni have had dif-
ficulty getting accomodations because of a
religious convention meeting in Abilene
this weekend said Mrs. Ray
Although no specific figures were
available. Mrs. Ray said the overall
number of returning alumni was not as-
large as anticipated Last week's per-
