Ken Webber a nationally acclaimed
hypnotist will perform in Cullen Auditor!
urn Friday at 8 p.m. said Students Associ-
ation president Rob Sellers.
Webber also will conduct a 90-miaute
self-Improvement seminar in the Living
Room of the Campus Center Friday at 3
p.m. The topk of the seminar will be "How
to Be Better at Every thing."
Admission to the evening performance
will be 31 but the afternoon seminar will
be free Sellers said. The performance and
seminar will be sponsored by tbo SA said
Sellers.
Webber is certified in clinical hyp-
notherapy by the University of California
at Los Angeles School of Medicine ac-
cording to promotional material. The
material said he has hypnotized over
100000 people.
Webber performed on the ACU campus
last year and drew "an excellent response
from the students" Sellers said. "Tho

last year was "very entertaining for all tho
students who attended. It's fun to see what
people will do when they're hypaot bed."
Webber's seminar will teach students

Sellers said several students atended
Webber's memory seminar last year and
learned techniques that helped them
remember lists of facts and bodies of
speeches. Several Senate members said
they used Webber's techniques during
finals week.

derclassmen would not be affected by

will aid students In preparing for finals.
Sellers said Webber's performance last
year was scheduled close to finals week
and a large number of students attended.
"It's simply amazing the things the man
can do" Sellers said. "We think students
will enjoy him. We think that he's a big
drawing card."

Classes elect
new senators
The sophomore and junior classes
each elected two senators In a second
senatorial runoff Thursday said Julie
Glpsofi SA secretary.
Dodd Roberts freshman accounting
major from Midlothian was elected as
sophomore senator with 106 votes and
Jennifer Haltom freshman pre-law
majer from Texarkana was elected as
sophomore senator with 111 votes.
Roberts and Haltom defeated Holly Hill
and Terry Duffleld who each received
97 votes.
Joble Cabbell sophomore accounting
major from Los Alamos N.M. and
Scott Wood sophomore accounting
major from Abilene were elected to the
two remaining junior senate positions.
Cabbell received 67 votes and Wood
received 65 votes to defeat Greg Carr
who received 32 votes; Lori Givens
who received 36 votes; and Scot Yar-
brough who recelvied 48 votes.
