morous Story Prize and It shall bo
given through tho Texas Intorcolle-
glato Press Association

and professors which seems hereto-
fore to be too much restricted. There-
fore with tho hope that It will In-
fluence tho colleges of tho state to a
new appreciation of tho sense of hu-

Tho award of tho prizo shall bo In
accordance with Article III Sections
2 3 4 & 7 and 8 of tho By-Laws
ot tho Toxas Intercollegiate Press As-

Any contestant' failing to comply with

eligible in tho prize contest. Each

MIL WRIGHT OFFERS PUIZE
TO THE BEST DEKATERS
Mr. W. O. Wright of Megargel Tex.
an old friend of President Sandcfer
has contributed twenty-five dollars to
bo used as prlzo money for tho two
bost debaters in the college. Fifteen
dollars Is to bo given as the first prize
and ton dollars as- second prize. The
prizes may bo given cither In cash or
as medals. ' .
In order to select the two men entl
tied to theso prizes each of tho three
young men's literary societies shalf
hold a preliminary contest from which
two men shall . bo chosen. The si
men who win In tho preliminary con-
test' shall meet in a final contest In
which each sido of tho debated qucs-'
tion shall be represented by ono man
from each of tho three literary socle-
ties. In this final contest individual
merit alone will bo Judged and tho two
best men will bo given the prizes.
Tho Oratorical and Debating Council
has charge of the contest and a com-
mittee from that organization will an
nounce tho details and question for
debato at an early date.
