Shiny spots from ironing cot-
tons especially dark-colored fab-
rics— can be prevented by iron-
ing on the wrong side, then fin-
ishing on the right.
In estimating the number of
towels to have on hand it is wise
to count on six towels and six
wash cloths for each person In
the household, plus an adequate
guest supply. This allows for
two towels in use, two in the
laundry,»and two in the linen
closet.
