organised at Clarksville at 2
o’clock Saturday afternoon. N.
P. Doak was chairman of the
mating and A. J. Street secre-
tary.
„ Mr. Poak announced the ob-
jectolfihe meeting and in a short

Bailey. There were eighty-four
. Bailey Democrats present who

Mr. Doak. Judge S.W. Harman,
Rev. J. A. Moore of Clarksville,
and A. J. Martin of Bowie Coun-
ty. More than 100 business men
and clerks sent regrets at not
being able to be present.

the Fort Worth convention se-
cured names of fifty-four who
promised to attend and the list
for delegates is to be sent to
other portions of the county. A
special car may be provided by
the Texas and Pacific for the use
of the Red River delegation.
