A doctor at Antlers was called
on to see a young man on the
Bill* farm near that place last
week. The patientwas acting very
qneerly. After the doctor Bad
seen him and had diagnosed his
case he declared that there was
nothing the matter with him ex-
cept that he was love sick. It
is said that the young fellow was
trying to win the love of a
young widow who did not seem
to reciprocate his affections.
When the Doctor arrived he
found the patient falling on the
floor in an apparently uncon
cions condition. When ho re-
covered consciousness and tried
to talk his tongue cleaved to the
roof of his mouth. The family
with whom the young man was
living told the doctor that his
infatuation for the widow was
the only reason they could as-
sign for his pecular action.—
