Two Boys Of Month
The La Grange Future Far-
mers of American chapter has
announced election of two
boys of the month.
James Tiemann, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Leo Tiemann of La
Grange, was chosen for the
honor in January. He is en-
rolled in Vocational Ag III, is
a senior in high school and is
presently the F’FA secretary.

the coming junior show, and a
feeder lamb. He serves as vice
president of the LHS senior

Mrs. Otto Tiedt Is
Honored At Coffee
Mrs. Otto Tiedt. who with
her husband recently moved
here from near Warrenton in-
to their new home on North
Franklin street, was honored at
a coffee Saturday morning giv-
en by Mrs. Bob H. Weeren.
Guests were the honoree’s
new neighbors, who called be-
tween 9 and 11 o’clock.
The Valentine motif was
used in decorating the living-
dining room. The table, laid
with a white cloth appliqued
with red felt hearts embroider-
ed with rhinestones, held a
large satin heart centerpiece
against a green foliage back-
ground from which hung small
hearts made of red pipe clean-
ers. Large red carnations were
laid around the satin heart
Refreshments were coffee
served with pigs in the blan-
ket. kolaches and doughnuts,
all made in miniature.
Assisting the hostess were
Mrs. John C. Marburger, Mrs.
W. C. Tielsch, Miss Reba
Krause and Paulette Tielsch.
The honoree, hostess and the
members of the house party all
wore red carnation corsages
tied with white satin ribbon.
Area Man Enlists
In IT. S. Air Force
Emil Seidel Jr., 27, son of
Mr. and Mrs Emil Seidel of Rt.
4, La Grange, has enlisted in
the United States Air Forca
for four years.
According to Master Ser«
geant Ray Wagner, Air Forca
recruiter from Bryan, Emil has
been assigned to Keesler Air
Force Base, Mississippi, wherp
he will attend aircraft control
and warning radar repairman
school.
Young Seidel previously
served nearly two years in the
United States Army, and was
separated Jan. 26, 1956 He re-
cently qualified for radar re-
pairman school, and was as-
signed directly to Keesler Air
F’orce Base.
