Wunderlich in a double-ring
candlelight ceremony perform-
ed in the Carmine Martin Lu-
ther Lutheran church on Au-
gust 27 at 7 p. m. Pastor A.
M. Hannemann performed the
ceremony before the altar
which held arrangements of
pink gladioli spears. Tapers in
candelabra entwined with
English ivy and moutain beau-
ty lighted the chancel space
and the aisle. Baskets of glad-
ioli and potted caladiums en-
hanced the scene.

bow-length veil of bridal il-
lusion fell from a crown of
orange blossoms. She wore ] bride, registered the
lamps entwined with English
ivy. Amid the scene, cathedral
lights spread their glow.
The bride’s table was cover-
ed with an organza cloth. At
one end stood the cut glass
punch bowl filled with pink
champagne punch. The other
end held the four tiered white
wedding confection festooned
with pink roses and white
swans. At its crest stood a min-
iature china bride and groom.
Pink and white petit fours
and mints were also served.
The bride's and attendants’
bouquets arranged around an
eighteen inch memory candle
formed the centerpiece. The
groom’s table held the coffee
service, chocolate cake accent-
ed with a white tie, party sand-
wiches and nuts.

were for the bride’s table,
Mrs. J. C. Pohl, Mrs. Charlie
Adamcek of Brenham, Mrs.
Clyde Raesner of Rosenberg
and Miss Peggy Lee Pieratt
of Giddings. At the groom’s

ment exercises at Stephen F.
Austin college, Nacogdoches,
where their nephew, Don C.
Ramsey, received his bachelor
of science degree. Don is the
son of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Jack Ramsey, who resided in
La Grange for several years.
He has been elected to a posi-
tion in the McKinney High
school, where he will teach
civics, coach basketball and as-
sist the head football coach.

At Dinner Sunday

Parents of the bride are Mr. the
and Mrs. W. J. Neese of Car-
mine. Mr. and Mrs. Delvin
Wunderlich of Fayetteville are
the groom’s parents.
The bride, who was given in
marriage by her father, wore
a traditional wedding gown of
white silk organza. Appliques
of Alencon lace adorning the
moulded bodice, forming the
short sleeves and the sabrina
neckline, were embroidered
with seed pearls and other
bridal jewels. Gathered into a
lowered waistline was the
flowing skirt with a graceful
chapel-length train. Beaded ap-
pliques identical to those on
the bodice were repeated at in-
white formal elbow-length
gloves. Her bridal bouquet was
a white orchid amid white
carnations carried on a bridal
prayer book. Her only jewelry
was a crystal drop necklace, a
gift from the groom.
Mrs. Delton Wunderlich, sis-
ter-in-law of the groom, was
matron of honor. Bridesmaids
were Miss Carol Ann Goebel,
cousin of the groom, and Mrs.
Ilo Dean Ullrich. They were
identically dressed in street
length dresses of azalea organ-
za over taffeta. The matching
head pieces were fabric roses
with nose-tip veils. Their
white gloves were gifts from
bride. Each carried a
