Cowboys Meet ACC
In Monday Rivalry
The Cowboys face the Wildcats
of Abilene Christian College Mon-
day December 12. Special events
planned for (this game include a
pep rally at noon Monday in the
SUB according to Phil Head
head cheerleader.
The H-SU ROTC Corps will sit
as a unit at the game Monday
night while the Pershing Rifles
drill team provide the half time
entertainment.
The Cats while possessing a
bad record hope to retain their
Southland Conference title which
they won with an 8-0 record in
conference play last season.
The Cats also won the NCAA
Southwest regional championship
last season. The Wildcats coached
by Dee Nutt are a strong con-
tender again 'this year for the
Southland title.
Returning lettermen include
David Wray 6'8" co-captain mak-
ing 19 points against New Mexico
University last weekend who set
a school record last year by aver-
aging .631 per cent dn field goals.
Regular starters are 6'3" guards

Christmas Dinner
Slated For Dec. 14
Sigma Delta Sigma men's so-
cial club and Beta Gamma Ep-
silon women's social club will
host the Dec. 14 Christmas Din-
ner according to Miss Billie
Shirley social director.
The menu for the evening will
include Turkey breast and a
steamboat round of beef to be
cut in the buffet line.
All the traditional Christmas
trimmings including fruitcake and
fruit will also be on the menu.
Corn and asparagus tips sweet
and mashed potatoes will be
served.
Sunday dress win be appro-
priate for the meal.

Who's Who In American Univer-
sities and Colleges according to
Orville Cunningham Dean of
Student Life.
Students honored are selected
from the junior senior and
graduate classes by a committee
usually consisting of faculty ad-
ministrators and students ac-
cording to the publications' fore-
word. Chosen for the honor for 1966-67

Christmas
Open house for the university
family will be held in the home
of Dr. and Mrs. Elwin L. Skiles
Thursday Dec. 15 from 2 to 5
p. m.
"We would like to invite the
student body the faculty admin-
istration and staffs and their
husbands and wives" said Mrs.
Skiles.
The president's home is opened
annually during the Christmas
season to allow ithe president and
his family to extend Christmas
greetings to the university fam-
ily and to become better ac-
quaiated with the students.

five Polish Jew immigrants in a
New York (tenement cellar.
The cast includes Johnny

Mann and Charlie Lumpkin.
Crew members for The Lesson
are Marvin Williams Bob Evans
Diana Yates and Robert Martin
on Set; Leslie Porter on cos-

and stage manager Suzanne
