rn The Little BUck Clock, with hi*
magic, had turned the time far
» M ahead and Peggy and John were
•:4S visiting ships at sea.
J-wr They bad a plane which took
* jJJ them from ship to ship and It took
e*s them hardly any time to make
*40 these trips—the planes were so
g 4'very, very fast.
>.m. ! Now the dock had said that this
‘an would be the last ship they would
jf* visit for a while, but before they
i<n left he whispered to John and Peg-
*i4§9 that the, captain of the ship had
r, ja meal all ready few them.
He had asked them if they were
hungry after arranging with the
(captain for this very special repast.
It was Indeed fortunate that the
dock had enough magic to he
could bring them back to the place
been so that 11

where they had
seemed as though they had not left
It at all. Oh. what wonderful things
he could do with the time!
In the captain's quarters they
found a table for

four. The cep- ‘
tain invited John and Peggy and
the Little Black dock to sit down.
The Clock did not eat, but divided
hie portkm between John and
Peggy so that each of them had
half an extra portion of everything!
After a very substantial meal I
they had ice cream such as they!
had never had before. The captain !
said II was Ocean lee cream and
that it was a very new and very!
popular dish. Peggy asked how It I
was made so she could tell her \
family about It. but the captain |
said that was a secret.
However, he did tell them that
after the salty taste had been taken
out they had discovered there was
no. flavor quite as good as the flavor i
of the foam of white caps.
Certainly it was delicious Ice
cream. And then they had cakes
made in the shapes of little boats
and planes. It made a beautiful
ending to their ship calling.
